El País Semanal: Still life
Still life shoots featuring select beauty products for El País Semanal. Primerizo en mimos was all about skincare for new dads in honor of Father’s Day. I wanted my approach to involve “balance” in a few ways: products stacked on top of eachother, products on toys, and an ordered sense of chaos with kids’ belongings and dad’s belongings. And, of course, coffee. For Sombra aquí, sombra allá, 1980’s nostalgia was in order for a return to bright and bold makeup- think fuschia mascara, bright blush, glossy lips and more. Based on the aesthetic of la movida Madrileña, I incorporated shadow and color (and accessories) to tell the story.
