Andrea Arevalo is a visual storyteller passionate about youth education, girls' empowerment, and the arts. Focused on documentary-style videography, photography, and art direction, Andrea currently freelances as a video editor with UN Women and other select clients. She travels internationally to capture video content and participate in projects on the ground with 100cameras, including recent trips to Colombia and an upcoming trip to the Middle East. With extensive experience in the non-profit and social good sectors, Andrea has worked with arts groups, individuals, and international organizations to tell moving stories, increase breadth, and improve social media engagement through quality content. This includes her work as full-time Art Director at the Grammy award-winning Brooklyn Youth Chorus, where she worked for nearly 5 years. She most recently became a recipient of The Wing Scholarship Program in 2019. 
Originally from Miami, FL, Andrea lived in Madrid and Brooklyn before moving to Oakland, CA. She studied Political Science, Latin American Studies and Bilingual Spanish at the University of Florida, as well as video production at BRIC Arts Media in Brooklyn, NY. She speaks English, Spanish, and basic Portuguese.
